Qantas First Class Lounge Sydney Review!

After spending some time in Sydney, Jen and I would be flying home on American Airlines Flagship First. American has a significant pressence in Sydney along with Oneworld partner Qantas. Although I could typically gain access to the lounge via my Oneworld Emerald status as an American Exectuive Platinum, I booked our tickets with Alaska and could not attach my elite status. First Class passengers on Oneworld flight can gain complimentary access to this wonderful lounge. The Qantas First Class Lounge is one of the best first class lounges located outside the Middle East. 💡 This is one of the few lounges where dining feels closer to a fine restaurant than an airport facility.

We visited the lounge during breakfast service and were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of offerings, from traditional Western breakfast favorites to thoughtfully prepared Asian-inspired dishes. As some of the first guests in the restaurant area, we enjoyed a quiet and unhurried atmosphere. Jen selected a classic breakfast, while I opted for the soba noodles with a poached egg, paired with a freshly made latte. We rounded out the meal by sharing a side of fresh fruit. Service was warm and attentive, with staff delivering an exceptionally polished experience.
