Upcoming Travel Plans: 2021 and Onward?

Travel had come to a complete halt in early 2020 due to covid-19. After more than a year stuck at home, I’m finally planning some travel. I’m excited to see how flying and traveling has changed post covid. Here are several things I have planned for the next few months.

SFO-CHI / MKE-SFO (United Polaris Seats?)

I will flying from SFO to CHI in May, before stopping in Milwaukee to help my younger brother move out. My younger brother is finishing college and he will be moving home. My SFO to CHI leg will be a red eye flight on United First Class featuring the Polaris seat. It has been almost a year and half since I last sat in a true business class seat. Because my trip is not a transcontinental flight, I will only get a great seat and the bare minimum service.

On the way back, I will be flying the stand extra large domestic first class seat on United. While this is nothing special, I do hope to have the chance to swing by a few lounges during this segment.

Lake Tahoe/ Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Category 6

My next trip will be with Jen and family to Lake Tahoe. After a busy year and a half of spending and planning with my Chase Hyatt Credit Card, I should have globalist status before this trip. I’m excited for the chance to take full advantage of hyatt globalist perks as well as a potential room upgrade. I already upgraded my parents to a suite using one of the certificates I earned last year.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

My first taste of a true luxury hotel will be this August at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Due to covid, I was fortunate to have my free weekend night certificates extended from last year to 8/31/2021. With that being said, I wanted to take Jen somewhere so we decided to check out this amazing property in Beverly Hills. I have heard many amazing things about the Waldorf brand by Hilton and I presume my experience will be just as fantastic as the other times I have stayed at a Hilton property.

Recap

I’m excited to get back on the road and begin to visit a few places in the next few months. I will definitely update on how the travel world has changed and adapted due to covid, as well as introduce some new cool eats. Stay tuned for more
