Shoes are an integral part of a travelers success. As I often spend most of the day walking and walk upwards of 10 miles a day when traveling, it is important to take great care of my feet. Here are some of my favorite shoes for traveling.
3) Nike Epic React Flyknit
A cozy comfortable sneaker featuring Nike’s extremely breathable flyknit. These shoes are a perfect blend of style, affordability, and comfort. Luckily, this model comes in a wide array of colors and can often be found for 40% off or more. This sneaker is staple in my traveling rotation and I have walked over 100 miles in these shoes.

2) Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo
A bonafide running shoe, the Nike Zoom Pegasus provides great cushioning and is great for days when I spend 4 hours plus walking. This shoe is versatile and I recently wore a pair to hike Hawaii’s challenging Koko Crater Trail. This shoe is perfect for those who prefer increased cushion and flexibility. The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo is a bit more pricey retailing at $180 though occasional discounts have the shoe around $100-$120.

1) Adidas Ultraboost
The Adidas Ultraboost is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn( I am not exaggerating). The Ultraboost has a sole made up of Adidas boost foam maximizing both cushioning and comfort. In addition, the upper portion of the shoe is composed on Adidas Primeknit. Primeknit is lightweight and produces a sock like feel to maximize comfort. While the shoe was limited early going, the model has been widely available over the last couple of years and Adidas has occasional deals where you can find them under $100.
