Let’s be real, American Airlines offers an outdated business/first class cabin on long haul routes. While Delta has been operating Delta One for some time and United has their flagship Polaris product, American Airlines has lagged. Recently, American Airlines announce cabin reconfigurations updating their Flagship product to Flagship Suites.

Starting in July 2025, American Airlines will expand its Flagship Suites—its new premium cabin experience—on several international routes:
- Chicago to London: All flights will feature Flagship Suites beginning July 5, 2025.
- Dallas-Fort Worth:
- Brisbane: Daily service with Flagship Suites from Oct 25, 2025 – Mar 28, 2026
- Buenos Aires: Available from Oct 26, 2025 – Jan 5, 2026
- London: Daily from Oct 26, 2025, with twice-daily service during the holidays (Dec 5, 2025 – Jan 5, 2026)
- Auckland: From Jan 5 – Mar 28, 2026
- Philadelphia to London: Daily service with Flagship Suites from Oct 25, 2025 – Jan 5, 2026

My Thoughts
I think this is a great move by American Airlines. Expanding Flagship Suites shows a strong focus on passenger comfort and improving the long-haul travel experience.
